My name is Lexi, the baker behind the whisk! By day I am the lead chef, handy woman, housekeeper, personal assistant, chauffeur, part-time tantrum therapist, executive manager, & cuddle corrdinator - that's right, I am a SAHM to the two most adorable boys & wife to my best friend of 15 years :)

I have always enjoyed experimenting with baking & cooking but started decorating cookies in 2021 after the birth of my eldest son. I am self-taught through countless hours spent binge-watching cookie videos on Instagram and my own trial and error. My love for baking continued to grow and my skills improved, and I started to share my little goodies with loved ones.

Over the years, I have lacked both the recollection to take photos and the courage to share them, but by word of mouth family/friends and others have asked me the honor of making cookies for their special occasions. While this started as something I did as an outlet for myself, I am now ready to take the whisk!
